The preservation of our environment and the proper utilisation of resources is a matter of great concern, which became the driving factor for the initial formation of GSL Metals &s; Machineries Trading, a company that specialises in scrap metal recycling and trading throughout Malaysia as well as other Asia Pacific countries.

From its inception in 1993, the Company had continued to strive to improve on its operating standards, expanding its business by working closely with various government authorities and industries in the area of waste management and recycling. The incorporation of GSL Materials Recycling SB (GSL) in 2004 marked the beginning of the accelerated growth for GSL and its achievements in high standards, processes and effectiveness for its operations to serve our customers better.

We hope to continue to play a vital role in completing the cycle for greater environmental sustainability. Our efforts towards achieving ISO certification is our commitment to the future growth of GSL, as a global organisation to help our customers achieve higher cost savings, reprocess quality scrap while ensuring a greener future for generations to come.
